Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking your holiday with Mary’s Court Apartment, you agree to the following terms and conditions, please read carefully.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required for each booking, deposits are not refundable. Any change in the dates of the booking will be deemed as a cancellation and any deposits will be forfeited. Upon receipt of the deposit we will send you a confirmation of your booking by post or email. Credit Card details will also be taken and act as security against any damages or breakages whilst you are in the apartment and used to the value of £50.00 if the apartment is not left clean and tidy. The balance will be required on arrival in cash so that banking charges are not passed onto the customer.

Cancellation and Insurance

Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement with you is a legal contract. If you cannot go on holiday and the apartment cannot be re-let, you are liable to pay for the booking in full. If we succeed in re-letting the apartment for that same period, we will refund to you any such rentals received less your deposit, which is always non-refundable.
For these reasons we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for your holiday as bereavement, redundancy, illness and accidents can happen at any time.

Non-Availability of Apartment as Booked

We would only cancel your holiday if the apartment was unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was either not possible or not acceptable to you then we would refund to you all monies paid for the holiday, including any deposits paid. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this full refund.

Arrivals

Arrivals for the apartment are between 5 - 7pm on Friday’s only for weekly bookings, short stays are not restricted to Friday arrival only, directions to the apartment can be sent to you if required. Upon arrival please come to the main entrance of Mary’s Court and we will check you in and show you around. Private parking is reserved for apartment guests.

Departure

Check out is strictly 10.00am on the day of departure to allow our cleaners access to clean the apartment in readiness for our next arrivals. Our cleaners will arrive for 10.00am, if they are delayed in commencement of cleaning, then a fee of £25 will be incurred for your late departure, this will be charged to the nominated credit/debit card. Please ensure you have left the apartment clean and tidy and as you found it upon check in. Please ensure you remove all rubbish, have cleaned and replaced all pots and pans before leaving and have secured the apartment. Please return the keys to us before you leave.

Liability

We do not accept responsibility for injury to persons or loss / damage to possessions unless caused by proven negligent act or omission of ourselves, our employees or contractors, or agents of the same, whilst acting in the course of their employment. This includes loss or damage to vehicles and their contents whilst on our premises, and to the personal possessions you bring with you.

Complaints

Should you find any faults or have any complaints during your stay, please advise us immediately so that any appropriate action can be taken. Any unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration.

Damage and Breakages

You are responsible for any breakages or damage you cause to the apartment and its contents, a list of replacement value is available on request. Please report all breakages or damage before you leave. Any charges will be charged to the nominated credit/debit card.

Website and Brochure

We make every effort to ensure that the information and apartment description contained on our Website are accurate. We do however reserve the right to make small changes and we accept no liability for minor inaccuracies.

Smoking - Please Read Carefully

To comply with current legislation our apartment is Strictly No Smoking and is fitted with highly sensitive smoke and heat detectors which are set to activate from cigarette smoke. Smoking will be permitted in outdoor areas only, but we would ask that stubs would be contained and disposed of safely and not left on the ground or in flower beds. Any damage caused through cigarettes and / or smoking will be charged to the nominated credit/debit card number.
Anybody found smoking inside the building will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be given.

Pets

No pets are permitted inside the apartment and no pets are to be left in cars in the parking area. Anyone found ignoring this rule will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be given.

Vehicles

We offer parking for one vehicle only. We cannot accommodate any additional vehicles on our premises. All vehicles are parked at owners risk and we accept no responsibility or liability to any damage or loss incurred to either vehicles or their contents whilst on our property.

General

There are 2 keys on the apartment key fob. One for the apartment main entrance door and one for the shed. Please feel free to use this space for bicycles /golf equipment etc, but please be aware it is a shared space with Marys’ Court Guest House guests.

Mary’s Court Apartment is bookable for 2 adults only and we do not permit or accept additional guests, or camp beds/travel cots. If any additional persons are found occupying the apartment, you will be asked to leave immediately and no refunds will be given.

Mary's Court apartment cannot accept any children under the age of 16 years old, this is to comply with our Fire Regulations and Insurance Conditions.
